Our Story
In 1965 the founder, Peter Hunt formed the electrical business PD Hunt. In the early years he provided electrical services to many local farms and businesses in the south.
Over the past 50 years we have grown steadily and now employ approximately 30 permanent electricians still providing the same high-quality work with a reliable friendly service to a wider group of clients in the industrial, commercial and domestic sectors.
As a company we have invested time and effort in our Apprenticeship Scheme. Over the years this has produced many of our current electricians and this provides the back bone of our company today.
Certified
PD Hunt Ltd is an award winning contractor, we consistently achieve Sub-contractor Commendations and NHBC Pride in the Job awards.
We believe in producing work safely, to the highest possible standard. We have been an Approved Contractor with the NICEIC since 1975.
We are certified as an approved contractor through an SSIP health and safety assessment scheme. Our operatives have CSCS cards and the site foremen are SSSTS qualified.
